Alexander Technique
with Michael Veilleux
Group Class
Saturdays 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
5 Weeks starting July 23, 2011
Price: 5 Weeks for $150, Individual Class: $35
This class will provide a way of looking at the moving body, and a vocabulary for discussing holding patterns, habitual movement tendencies & preferences, and places where you interfere with your own movement potential. You will learn how to move without bracing and rigidity, or the over-straightening that frequently happens when people strive to have “good posture”. You will learn to move away from static “posture” toward a more dynamic use of the whole body in action that can aid in making changes to promote healthy functioning, relieve pain and tension, develop greater flexibility, and optimize your performance in activity.
