Image Comics artist Andre Szymanowicz [si-man-o-vich] will be sketching and signing copies of the debut issue of his new series HELL YEAH on Saturday, March 10th at Dewey’s Comic City, 13 Park Avenue, Madison NJ, from 1 to 30pm. The first issue of HELL YEAH will be available on Wednesday, March 7th.
Andre, a former student of Dover NJ’s Joe Kubert School of Comic Art, is a local independent artist and graphic designer. His work has appeared in a number of projects including Comic Book Tattoo, the Eisner & Harvey award winning POPGUN anthology, and Elephantmen. He also has done coloring work for DC Comics, including several issues of The Spirit, and a number of Superman and Batman stories. HELL YEAH is his first ongoing series featuring both his pencils and inks.
