Assertiveness Workshops for Middle School Girls

The American Association of University Women and the Madison Alliance Addressing Substance Abuse will co-sponsor two assertiveness workshops, one for sixth-grade girls and another for seventh and eighth-grade girls.

Lisamarie Slattery, a licensed professional counselor with degrees from Rutgers and Montclair State Universities, and Robin Cornelison, an employee of The Connection for Women and Families and Program Director and facilitator of its Girl Project, will host the workshops.

The workshop will cost $5 per girl. Space is limited. To register, send the name and grade level of the participant, mailing address, phone number, email, and a check to:
