MADISON, NJ — Film lovers and supporters of independent cinema are invited to a special edition of Show Us Your Shorts on Tuesday, May 27 at 7:00 PM, featuring an exciting exclusive first look at the upcoming Mortenveld Productions short film, Back Up.
Held as part of the monthly Show Us Your Shorts showcase, this month’s event will include a premiere screening of the official preview for Back Up, the newest original film from award winning filmmaker Brian Mortensen and Mortenveld Productions.
Back Up is a unique mystery thriller told across three intersecting timelines: one moving forward, one moving in reverse, and one frozen in time. The story follows investigators racing to solve a murder in a quiet community where the only way to uncover the truth is to back up.
Show Us Your Shorts is a monthly gathering that celebrates short films, local filmmakers, and creative storytelling in a welcoming community setting. 
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the showcase experience while being among the very first to see what’s coming next from the team behind award winning productions including Company and My Roommate Dan.
