Drawing inspiration from Bright Sheng's multi-hued musical palette, one of the most eclectic programs of the season gathers chamber music from four rich cultures. Pianist Inon Barnatan and cellist Alisa Weilerstein return to CMS for a premiere by Sheng. Enchanting French works from two eras, Martinů's virtuosic "Madrigals," and Arensky's passionate Piano Trio complete the journey. Concert at 8:00 PM. Pre-concert conversation with Garyth Nair and CMS Artists at 7:15 PM.
