Teaching with Historic Places
This workshop is designed for teachers, museum and historic site volunteers, educators, and anyone else interested in learning how place can be used to teach history and social studies to children, ages 8 – 13. The Teaching with Historic Places program, developed by the National Park Service, is explored as a model and resource for workshop participants to develop their own customized lessons for specific site.
