Teachers from the Learning Laboratory will present: Developing Solid Readiness Skills in Young Children at the Madison Area YMCA on September 29, 2010 at 7 pm. This presentation is free to interested parents and educators. The focus of the workshop will be understanding what recent research indicates are the most important domains for developing readiness skills and how parents can help children meet these benchmarks.

The Learning Laboratory is a full service learning center located in downtown Madison. The center offers small group instruction, individual tutoring, Pre-K and Kindergarten enrichment classes, diagnostic testing and school consultation. The center employs only State certified teachers. The center is owned by Polly Scott, M.A., LDT-C, a certified teacher and learning consultant and Nancy DiPaola, a certified teacher.
