It's the tenth annual FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! And this year's FREE COMIC BOOK DAY may just be the best ever!
· Choose from over 30 comics from a wide variety of publisher all published especially for this day!
· Returning for his 10th annual FCBD appearance is Archie Comics artist (Man from Riverdale) and Joe Kubert Art School instructor Fernando Ruiz, who'll be meeting fans, providing free sketches and signing copies of his published work from 1:30 to 3:30pm!
· Also sketching for aspiring young comic creators is Kubert School instructor artist FABIO REDIVO, who’s returning for his second FCBD at Deweys!
· NEW THIS YEAR! This year we’re pleased to welcome members of the graduating, third year class of students from the Joe Kubert Art School who will also be providing free sketches and art tips for aspiring budding young artists!
· We're excited to welcome back costumed members of the STAR WARS costuming organizations the REBEL LEGION and 501st LEGION, NORTHEST REMNANT! It's the Star Wars characters come to life!
There'll be comics for just about every member of the family! For superhero fans look for FCBD comics starring Spider-man, Green Lantern, Captain America, Thor, a preview of the highly anticipated Flashpoint series and - yes, DARKWING DUCK!!! There'll be plenty of kid friendly comics including Sonic the Hedgehog, a Star Wars Clone Adventures title, a preview of the new Super Dinosaur title, a Young Justice / Batman Brave & the Bold sampler, as well as titles featuring Geronimo Stilton, Mickey Mouse, Avatar, Rich Rich, the Simpsons and more! Sure to a big hit are FCBD editions of Mouse Guard / Dark Crystal, Locke & Key, Civil War Adventures, and Stuff of Legends!
