The Madison Public Library will present The FrostKings in concert on Saturday, February 4th at 1:00 pm. The FrostKings are a Swing, R & B, and Blues band originating from the North Jersey area. They have played many festivals and venues throughout the state over the last few years. They have blended their diverse musical stylings and backgrounds to form one tight-knit band. Equally at home playing swinging shuffles, slow blues or full-tilt boogies, The FrostKings’ repertoire ranges from the West Coast swing stylings of Louis Jordan and T-Bone Walker, to the classic blues of Luther Johnson, B.B. King, Eddie “Clean Head” Vinson and Muddy Waters, to the R&B of Wilson Pickett and Herbie Hancock. If you’re not already a swing-blues fan, you will be after hearing the Icey-Cold tones of the FrostKings! This free concert is open to the public and suitable for all ages.
