Free Membership and Fun for All at Madison Y's Fall Open House
(Madison, NJ) September 17, 2010 – The Madison Area YMCA's Family Center, located at 111 Kings Road in Madison, will host its annual Open House Week from Saturday, September 18 through Saturday, September 25. This is a timely opportunity for the entire community to explore with family and friends all the amenities that the Y has to offer.
Fall Open House Week features free membership for the week for all non-members, and a free month of membership offer. The free membership also allows one to drop in and participate in a wide array of free fitness classes as well as a selection of registration-only classes for all ages. Participants may also enjoy unlimited use of the Fitness Center; Open Lap Swimming; Open Gym; Kids Central, the Y's indoor playground for kids; and much, much more.

Special events, activities, orientations and demonstrations from different fitness and program areas will be held throughout the week, including enrichment classes such as Mad Madison Science (for ages 6-12), Totally Two's (for ages 2-3), Super Hero Legos (for ages 4-6), and a special Monday to Friday 30-minute Arts & Crafts time (for ages 3-5). A variety of free swim classes for all ages will be available for trial during Open House week by contacting Aquatics Director Lisa Kowal at 973-822-9622 to pre-register. Family Swim Time will be offered during Open House Week on Saturday, September 18 from 6:30 to 9:30pm, Sunday, September 19 from 2:00 to 4:00pm, Friday, September 24 from 7:00 to 9:00pm, and Saturday, September 25 from 6:30 to 9:30pm.
Now through September 25, anyone who joins the Y as a new Family, Adult, Young Adult, Senior Adult, or Senior Family member will receive one month of free Y membership. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Some restrictions may apply.
