The American Legion, Frank Paterson Post 43 has joined with Nicky Ross Entertainment to host an evening of solid gold performances to raise awareness and funds for wounded and homeless American veterans. The evening will be hosted by Mr. Ross.
The show will take place at the Madison Junior School on Saturday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. The event will consist of great oldies acts from the 50’s and 60’s, including:
- Shirley Alston Reeves. A Rock ‘n’ Roll hall of famer and former lead singer of The Shirelles, Reeves is the show’s headliner. Among the numbers she will perform is her hit honoring American heroes, “Soldier Boy.”
- Lenny Coco & The Chimes will sing a selection of classic melodies, including their greatest hit “Once in a While.”
- Joel Katz & The Dynamics will also appear. Among their selections will be “Fallen not Forgotten,” a song honoring our lost heroes, written by Nicky Ross and Nino Cosentino and recorded by Mr. Katz.
- Dr. G’s Underground, featuring hits from the 60’s, will have you dancing in your seat.
“I’m honored to be hosting and producing the show,” Ross said. “There is a continuing need to both raise awareness of the plight of some of our heroes and provide the assistance they have earned by protecting our freedom.”
