Summer Camp for a Day

Summer Camp for a Day,  Thursday, July 15th  10 AM - 2 PM

Fabric Fun

Take part in a variety of crafts and activities using fibers and fabric.  Using real lamb's wool, learn the old-time art of wool-felting, and make a felted toy.  View the Museum's displayed textiles and work with quilt pieces.  Other activities include fabric collages, and making dream pillows or catnip toys.  The Museum will host eight unique one day summer camps for children ages 4-12.  This camp is a full day of activities without the long term commitment.  Campers will learn about different aspects of history and participate in a variety of hands-on craft projects based on the Museum's exhibits.  Campers ages 4-6 are required to have an adult present.  Space is limited.  Advance registration required.  Members: $25 for any 1 session & $65 for any 3 sessions.  Non-Members: $30 for any 1 session & $80 for any 3.  Call for more information, 973-377-2982 x12.
