
Summer Camp for a Day: Caleb the Carpenter, Tuesday, August 23rd 10 AM - 2 PM
Named in honor of Caleb Burroughs, a carpenter here in Madison during the 1800s, participants will learn about Early American tools. Campers will use a variety of tools to create a number of carpentry projects during the day. The Museum will host eight unique, one-day summer camps for children ages 4-12. This camp is a full day of activities without the long term commitment. Campers will learn about different aspects of history and participate in a variety of hands-on craft projects based on the Museum’s exhibits. Campers ages 4-6 are required to have an adult present.
