Summer Camp for a Day: Caleb the Carpenter

Summer Camp for a Day: Caleb the Carpenter, Tuesday, August 23rd  10 AM - 2 PM

Named in honor of Caleb Burroughs, a carpenter here in Madison during the 1800s, participants will learn about Early American tools.  Campers will use a variety of tools to create a number of carpentry projects during the day.  The Museum will host eight unique, one-day summer camps for children ages 4-12.  This camp is a full day of activities without the long term commitment.  Campers will learn about different aspects of history and participate in a variety of hands-on craft projects based on the Museum’s exhibits.  Campers ages 4-6 are required to have an adult present.  Space is limited.  Advance registration required.  Members: $25 for any 1 session & $65 for any 3 sessions.  Non-Members: $30 for any 1 session & $80 for any 3.  Call for more information, 973-377-2982 x12.
