Families are not happy with this new policy in some schools. They do not want to send their lice free children to school and have them come home infested with lice. This is what will happen if we are sending kids with head lice to school. At Lice Lifters we see families affected by these policies and make recommendations often. They are frustrated to say the least. The public reaction when the The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) came out with the new “no nit” policy was outrage.
