First Baptist Church Partners for Community Health Day
It's not just a health day but also a fun filled day for the entire family.
Community Health Day is on Saturday, September 12, 2015, 9:00 am-1:00 pm, at Headquarters Plaza, Speedwell Avenue, Morristown, NJ. Free screenings and Community Resource Fair includes: balance screening; blood pressure; depression information, diabetes, mental health services; HIV screening and information; memory screening, nutrition information; respiratory, senior resources; spiritual services and stroke information.
You must pre-register for: cholesterol; foot screening, hearing screening, osteoporosis; oral cancer; prostate cancer; vision screening; and children’s dental screening (ages 112). To register beginning August 1, call 1-800-247-9580.
This event will also have some fun activities: Zumba demo; raffle prizes; health snacks, music; children’s activities, balloons; and face painting.
Morris County Chapter of The Links, Inc. sponsors the Community Health Day Walk-a-Thon. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the walk begins at 8:30 sharp at Morristown Medical Center
Be an active participant!! Join The Links for the annual Walk-a-thon in support of Community Health Day. Walkers leave Morristown Medical Center at 8:00 a.m. and will arrive at Headquarters Plaza by 9:00 AM.
