Constituents can only access the call if they answer the robo-dial, a representative for Frelinghuysen told Patch. They cannot independently dial in to the conference call because of technological restraints.

The call was originally scheduled for last week, but was postponed due to the storm.

Frelinghuysen has come under fire for only holding these telephone conference town halls. He has defended the practice, saying he can reach a wider range of constituents this way.
