“We have some amazing silent auction items up for grabs this year,” said Gala co-chair Christine Collins. “Because of the generosity of local merchants, community members, and Madison neighborhoods, guests will bid on getaways like a week stay at a New England beach home and a weekend at Sky Top Lodge in the Poconos, hi-tech items like the Amazon Echo Show and an Apple Watch, and local treasures like Madison High School graduation tickets and a Madison Community Pool Membership.”
New to the MEF Gala this year is the implementation of an online bidding service for the silent auction and “Golden Ticket Trip” raffle. “Using an online bidding service means guests can bid on items from the convenience of their smartphones,” said Gala co-chair Sara Burnet. “It’s an easy, fun, and competitive way for guests to participate whether they can attend the event or not.” The silent auction will go live at www.501auctions.com/mefgala approximately 10 days before the event.
