Girls Field Hockey Clinic Offered for Grades 3-8

Sign-ups hve opened for the 2011 Madison Field Hockey Clinic.

The Clinic is open to girls in grades three through eight, and no experience is necessary.

The Clinic will be run by varsity coaches Ann Marie Davies and Jan Arthur, and is co-sponsored by the Madison Recreation Department. It will cover basic skills, positioning, rules, and offer plenty of playing time.

Two sessions at the high school turf field are offered. Session 1 runs May 31 through June 3, while Session 2 is scheduled for June 6 - 9, with a rain date of June 10. The sessions run from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $100 per session.

Participants should bring shinguards, mouthpiece, sneakers or turf shoes, and water. You may borrow a stick or bring your own.
