"Gotcha!": Snapshots That Made History

The Thursday Morning Club of Madison invites the public to attend a free lecture at its Thursday, January 7, 2016 General Meeting. The meeting, beginning at 10:00 AM, will be held at its facility, the Madison Community House, 25 Cook Ave.
Our guest speaker will be highly regarded photojournalist, Jim DelGiudice. Mr DelGiudice will present his program entitled “Gotcha!”: Snapshots That Made History, which “looks at accidentally historic photographs that not only changed history, but have become the icons by which we remember great events”.
Mr. DelGiudice has been documenting the New Jersey scene for over 25 years. He is an adjunct assistant professor at County College of Morris, has lectured at Drew and Columbia Universities and before professional groups in the metro area. He has twice won awards for his architectural photography, three times received the state’s Historic Preservation Award and been cited by the state and county legislatures for his lifetime contribution to the arts. The subject matter of his other programs range from architecture and photography to historic people and places.

Please join the members of the Thursday Morning Club for this interesting and informative lecture and slide presentation. Immediately following the meeting the Thursday Morning Club Catering Committee will be serving a luncheon.
