Park Avenue at South Street has been reopened as of Saturday afternoon after a morning car accident had the Madison Police Department asking residents to avoid the area as workers repaired a downed telephone pole.
Police notified residents to the emergency utility work via a Nixle Alert on Saturday at about 8:30 a.m.
The department would not release details of the accident when contacted by Patch, but an officer did confirm that there were injuries sustained as a result.
