Madison Police Investigation Helps Lead to Capture of Fugitive
New Jersey man charged in boro burglary, thefts.

and other law enforcement agencies assisted in the arrest last week of a fugitive wanted by U.S. Marshals.
On Sept. 20 at 10:30 p.m., Madison Det. John Miscia arrested Terrence Lynch, 54, of Phillipsburg, and charged him with burglary and theft of tools and landscaping equipment from several commercial vehicles parked at businesses on Madison Avenue, Kings Road and Main Street.
The arrest capped a weeks-long investigation by Miscia, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, New Jersey State Police and Virginia Beach (Va.) police.
Lynch was apprehended in Virginia Beach by U.S. Marshals on the strength of a fugitive warrant issued by Miscia. He was transported back to Madison for processing, and then jailed at the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail pending a mandatory court appearance.
Dets. Paul Kosakowski and Edward Mitchko assisted with the investigation.
