Knife Fight Sent Person To Hospital: Madison Police

One person was injured.

MADISON, NJ — A knife fight earlier this month sent a person to the hospital, Madison police said in a statement.

Police responded to a fight just after 2 a.m. on April 2, where one of the two involved allegedly had a weapon.

The victim told police they were attacked by Andrew M. Grucko, 51 of Madison, who allegedly had a knife. The victim had cuts to their hand, and was taken to Overlook Hospital for their injuries. Police did not identify the victim.

Grucko was arrested at the scene, and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and simple assault.
