Knife-Wielding Man Charged With Assault: Madison Police
Trion A. Washington attacked a co-worker, police said.
MADISON, NJ - A 31-year-old East Orange man was arrested after an argument with a co-worker brought in the Madison Police Department on Feb. 10.
According to authorities, Patrolman Matt Mirabella was dispatched to a Madison Avenue location for a dispute between two co-workers.
Upon arrival, Mirabella's investigation revealed that Trion A. Washington got into an argument with a co-worker, struck him with a large kitchen utensil and held a knife at him in a threatening
manner, police said. Washington was charged with two counts of 3rd degree aggravated assault, two counts of 4th degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and two counts of 3rd degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, police said.

He was released pending a court appearance in Morris County Superior Court. The victim did not wish to be treated for minor injuries, police said.
