Local Kiwanis Hosts Annual Installation Dinner - Welcomes New President
Kiwanis Installation Dinner Tuesday September 27, 2016. Madison Hotel. Retiring 2015-2016 president. Welcoming 2016-2017 president.
The Kiwanis Club of The Chathams and Madison held their annual Installation Dinner on Tuesday, September 27th at the Madison Hotel. In addition to the Kiwanis members, also in attendance was Michael Mulhaul - NJ District Chairman for the Eliminate Project, Devin Sun - International Key Club President, as well as Howard Gordon - Lieutenant Governor for Kiwanis Division 9.
2015-2016 President Bill Williams was retired as president, and welcomed in their new president - Karen Shippey. The evening was also filled with awards and recognition for members with extensive years of service. These members were awarded the Legion of Honor.
The Key Note Speaker for the evening was International Key Club President - Devin Sun. The young man spoke of the plans for the future of the Key Club, as well as plans for growth and collaboration with the Kiwanis organization.
