But at the center of this heartbreaking drama is the scheming Iago, played by Robert Cuccioli. When Othello failed to promote his longtime aide, the duplicitous Iago, suspicious the brilliant and handsome general had seduced his wife, wreaks vengenance.
The Shakespeare Theatre production continues until Oct. 7.
