Madison Borough Administrator Raymond M. Codey Elected To Board of N.J. Municipal Management Association

Statewide organization serves local government managers

Madison Borough Administrator Raymond M. Codey has been elected to the executive board of the New Jersey Municipal Managers Association (NJMMA) for 2017. The professional organization offers training, education and peer support to hundreds of professional managers in local government throughout New Jersey.

Codey has served as the borough’s chief executive officer since 2007. Prior to that, he was director of development for the New Community Corporation for more than 20 years. In the early 1980s, he was chief of staff in the office of the Essex County Executive.

Codey holds a law degree from the Seton Hall Law School and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Seton Hall University.

Established in the early 1950s, NJMMA is dedicated to advancing the professionalism, training, and development of public managers, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices in municipal management. The organization has been instrumental in shaping legislation and policies that affect services to residents and businesses throughout New Jersey.
