Wexler received his “certificate of completion” at the Academy’s graduation ceremony that was held on Friday. A fire fighter II has undergone additional training to become more knowledgeable in fire fighting techniques, according to the course description.
Instruction at this level will be aimed at providing the student with the skills and knowledge necessary to function under general supervision.

Students learn how to function safely and effectively as an integral member of a fire fighting team. Successful students will be trained to perform fire fighting activities requiring the student to maintain direct communication with a supervisor.
