With defense.

Bringing its 8-2 regular season record into the playoffs, Madison shut out No. 5 seed Mountain Lakes before putting the brakes on top seed Lenape Valley this past weekend by a score of 14-7, punching its ticket to the title game.

Rutherford has gone in the other direction, scoring more than any other team in the bracket after beating Lyndhurst 35-12 in the first round and 38-28 against Hanover Park in the semifinals.
