Madison Gets Half Million Bucks For Rec Center Debt

MADISON, NJ - Former Governor Dick Codey presented Madison Borough with a $500,000 at the end of last month.

The check was presented on behalf of the Green Acres Program in the amount of $500,000 for the Madison Recreation Center, to help pay down the debt. The Green Acres program accepts applications from municipalities, counties and non-profit groups for grants and loans for land acquisitions, park development and stewardship projects
