Madison Girls Rec Softball Registration from December 1 to January 15, 2014

Madison Girls Softball Registration to Begin:

Madison Girls Softball offers girls, K - 8th grade, the opportunity to learn, play, and succeed at the game of softball. Madison Softball is open to all young ladies residing in Madison and Harding Township.

Registration for the 2015 season will be available from December 1, 2014 through January 15, 2015. Registration will be offered only on-line through TeamSnap at:

KINDER-BALL:
The Kinder-Ball program (girls in kindergarten) consists of fun 60 minute sessions at the MRC (Madison Recreation Complex), on Saturday mornings, 9-10AM, May through June. During these clinics, the girls are introduced to the basics of softball (throwing, hitting, catching, running) in a positive environment. To be eligible, players must be enrolled in Kindergarten during this fall/spring.

ROOKIE DIVISION:
Rookie division is offered to girls grades 1-2 and is a coach pitch league that runs from April to early June. This level will prepare players to take the next step as they hit live pitching as well as improving their defense by playing different positions in the field. Games are played at the MRC one evening and Saturday mornings.

LEAGUE PLAY:
Every year Madison Softball offers League Play for girls in grades 1-8 running from April to early June. Games advance from coach pitch to player pitch as the girls advance in grade. Participation through 4th grade is with other Madison players expanding to competition with neighboring town teams when the girls reach 5th grade.
