Madison Junior's 5K Logo Chosen For Annual Race

MADISON, NJ - First time winner Ethan Gajewski, a junior at Madison High School, won the Madison Education Foundation 5K logo contest this year, according to the MEF.

According to the MEF, Gajewski sees his interest in graphic design more as a hobby, he is keeping the doors open when it comes to his future. He feels sure that he’ll use his graphic design skills in whatever he decides to pursue after high school, he said.

Gajewski enjoys filming and editing videos for TV club, and the sciences, such as physics and biology and his favorite class is advanced digital design, where he learned the design skills to create the winning logo, officials said.

Gajewski's told the MEF that his favorite teacher at Madison High School is Jeff Coviello, his former TV production teacher and the supervisor for the TV club. After high school, Gajewski plans to study some type of science in college, officials said.

Register for the 16th Annual 5K to benefit the Madison Education Foundation on Sunday May 5, 2019 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Madison High School at www.mefnj.org.
