Madison Lax Woes Continue in 7-2 Loss to Summit

Despite leading Summit 2-1 at the half, the boys lacrosse team couldn't keep up with the veteran Hilltoppers who eventually posted a 7-2 victory. The loss extended the Dodgers' early-season struggles as their record fell to 0-4.

IN SHORT
Things were looking good for the Dodgers as they left the field at halftime. Goalie Brett Anton had been making impressive saves and staked the team to a 2-1 lead.  However, the more experienced Summit team made a few adjustments at the half and started putting their shots away.  By the end of a dominating third quarter, the Hilltoppers held the game firmly in their grasp.

Mark Langan—2 goals on 4 shots. While Summit shut down Madison's offense in the second half, Langan accounted for all of the Dodger offense as he scored both of his goals in the first two periods.
