Madison Man Charged With Heroin Possession
Michael R. Serillo was arrested after a criminal mischief report, police said.

MADISON, NJ - A 29-year-old Madison man was arrested and charged with 3rd degree possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance on Dec. 4, Madison Police said.
According to authorities, Corporal Bart Glab arrested was dispatched to an Essex Place residence for a criminal mischief complaint where he encountered Serillo just outside of the residence.
While speaking to Serillo, he was found to have several outstanding arrest warrants totaling approximately $1,000, police said. During the investigation, Serillo was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and hypodermic syringes and was placed under arrest on scene and transported to headquarters for processing, police said.

Glab charged Serillo with the disorderly person’s offenses of 3rd degree possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, police said.
Serillo was turned over to the Morris County Sheriff’s Department on his outstanding warrants and is awaiting his Morris County Superior Court appearance, police said.
