Madison Named Of One Safest Places To Raise Children In America

MADISON, NJ — Many residents already know this: Madison can be a great place to raise children. A new study from home security group SafeWise agrees with them, naming Madison one of the 50 safest cities to raise a child in.

Madison ranks number 19 on the list, and is the highest ranked New Jersey town. SafeWise gave Madison a 84.13 out of 100 overall safety score, with an 89 out of 100 for walkability. It's violent crime rate is just .18.
