Madison Principal Calls It Quits
Allison Stager is leaving Torey J. Sabitini School for another district.

MADISON, NJ - After three years at Torey J. Sabintini School, Principal Allison Stager is departing ways with the Madison elementary school in December for a job in another district.
"My time at Torey J. has been enormously rewarding, and I have enjoyed serving a community that deeply values and supports education," Stager said in a release.
Superintendent Mark Schwarz said that Stager has been a consistent and guiding force for progress at Torey J. Sabatini School.

"Under her leadership, our students have experienced increased wellness and improved academic performance. Mrs. Stager has also provided unifying leadership to our faculty and staff and has collaborated with the administrative team with insight and innovation on behalf of our students," Schwarz said. "For these reasons, she leaves Madison with our gratitude and best wishes."
Schwarz said the process of finding the best possible principal candidate for the Torey J. Sabatini School is now of utmost priority and the goal will be to immediately conduct a comprehensive search so that a new principal can ideally begin in the first week of the New Year.

Prior to joining the Madison administrative team, she spent three years as Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Moonachie School District (K-8) in Bergen county. Stager holds a bachelors degree in English Literature from Providence College, a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Caldwell University, as well as several certifications. She resides in Lincoln Park with her husband and two daughters. Stager noted that the support of the Madison community has been an integral part of the school's success.
"Your children are amazing. They are our inspiration and their voices are reflected in the collective vision that has evolved over the past several years here," Stager said. "I will always admire and appreciate the countless efforts you have extended to enhance the overall school experience for the students."
