Madison Proclaims Its Pride
Madison High School Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) and local officials celebrated Pride Month.
MADISON, NJ - The Madison Mayor and Council celebrated Pride Month on Monday with a proclamation at the council meeting.
The proclamation was presented members of the Madison High School Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) proclaiming the month of June as Pride Month. According to officials, the proclamation says Madison is in support of the LGBTQ community.
Rainbow Pride flags will be displayed on Waverly Place through the end of the month recognizing all LGBTQ residents whose influential and lasting contributions to town neighborhoods make Madison a vibrant community in which to live, work and visit, officials said.
