The inaugural 2011 Dodger Classic Golf Tournament is bringing together various parts of the Madison community to raise funds for the over 500 freshman, junior varsity and varsity athletes at MHS.

Aon Risk Solutions is the event’s primary corporate sponsor, and is joined by a broad base of Madison “mom and pop” small-business participants, and more-than-expected individual players hitting the links.

Madison Mayor Mary-Anna Holden has agreed to make the Championship award presentation. “During this period of government fiscal restraint, we need to do what we can to support our children, both academically and athletically,” said Holden, “especially if we can have some fun doing it!”
