IN SHORT
The Dodgers found themselves in a hole early as Morris Catholic put up 11 runs in the first three innings. Despite the early deficit, the Dodgers continued plugging away, and in the sixth inning their bats came alive to score eight runs, giving them a 14-13 lead. That lead was short-lived, though, as Morris Catholic answered with two runs in the top of the seventh to take a 15-14 advantage. The Dodgers would again threaten in the bottom half of the seventh but come up just short, losing their third game this season.

THEY SAID IT
“They scored more runs than us, I don’t know what to tell you. Our pitcher struggled with control, we got down early, fought our way back and came up a little short. Some of their hits fell in, some of ours didn’t."–Madison Head Coach Dale Garlick
