Every orchestra has their concertmaster, or soloist who has great technical ability but without solid, accomplished section members, there would be no orchestra. This is where Jonathan has excelled the past three years I have known him. He is one of my most dedicated orchestra members, responsibly attending weekly lessons, learning whichever violin part I need him to perform and even playing percussion with precise rhythmic accuracy at our last concert. Because of his hard work, Jonathan was able to improve his playing, earning him a spot in the 8th grade honors chamber ensemble where he will be featured at our graduation ceremony. Jonathan also volunteers at after school rehearsals, helping younger 5th grade students learn their orchestra music
