Help Madison Students Take On Holiday Hunger
Madison High School is signed up to compete in Students Change Hunger. You can help them help others.
MADISON, NJ - Madison High School Dodgers have joined Students Change Hunger to help refill the local food banks ahead of the holiday season. This is a statewide competition conducted by the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks. The Madison High School Key Club is sponsoring the event.
According to the organization's website, even in the world’s wealthiest nation, over 42 million people deal with hunger. It is a universal problem. Like every other state in the country, New Jersey has its challenges when it comes to this issue. Although hunger can be found in virtually every county of the state, it doesn’t mean action can’t be taken to fight it.
The district now has the opportunity to compete to win the Governor's Cup, as well as other state-wide honors, for donating the most food items to the Community Food Bank in Hillside.
