Madison Swears In A New Firefighter

Evan Webb is now a probationary member of Madison's Bravest.

MADISON, NJ - It wasn't all facts and figures during Monday's meeting of the Madison Mayor and Council as beyond the 2019 budget passing, the governing body also added a new member to Madison's Bravest.

The oath of office was was administered to Probationary Firefighter Evan Webb.

A probationary firefighter is any firefighter in their first 6–18 months of service in a particular fire department. The title of probationary firefighter is generally the lowest rank in a fire department's rank structure.

"We welcome him to the Madison Fire Department and wish him all the best as he serves to protect Madison residents," officials said.
