MADISON, NJ - A 19-year-old Madison man was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual abuse of children related to the dissemination and possession of child pornography, according the Berks County district attorney's office.
According to Chief County Detective Michael J. Gombar authorities in October were informed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a specific IP address linked with Brendan Geier used Skype to upload seven digital images of suspected child pornography.
In November investigators executed a search warrant at his dormitory room at Kutztown University and seized his laptop and cellphone. During the examination of those items, numerous images and videos of child pornography were found, Gombar said.
