MJS Collecting Turkey, Canned Goods
Donations will benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morristown.

Madison Junior School’s Second Annual Turkey Drive will benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morristown.
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, residents can drop off frozen turkeys and canned goods at the Madison Junior School between 8:30-9:30 a.m. Members of the Student Council will be stationed along Brittin Street to collect goods.
Parents of MJS students can drop off their items when they bring their child to school.
The goal is to collect 60 frozen turkeys and more than 300 canned items.
Several local stores are offering shoppers great deals on frozen turkeys and canned goods. Stop and Shop in Madison will match any competitor’s turkey price. Shoppers who spend $300 at the ShopRite on Shunpike between certain dates will qualify for a free turkey or ham.
Besides turkeys and canned goods, the Interfaith Food Pantry also needs hams, stuffing, juice, vegetables, pie crust, nuts, instant or fresh potatoes, gravy, roll mix, coffee, brownie or cake mix and icing, Parmalat and evaporated milk, onions and fresh fruit. Financial donations are also welcome.
