The Montessori Children's Academy

The talented Kindergarten and Elementary students of The Montessori Children’s Academy (MCA) created a beautiful art display for the 2015 Annual Conference of the American Montessori Society (AMS) which was held this year from March 12-15 in Philadelphia, PA. 76 student-designed ceramic tiles helped decorate one of the entryways to the event which provided inspiring messages from keynote speakers and a variety of workshops for Montessori educators. The children’s artwork was enjoyed by over 4,000 Montessori supporters who attended the conference, and Cathy Lopez-Cooling, AMS Conference Art Display Chair, reported that MCA’s work proudly represented Montessori in New Jersey at this national conference. The Montessori Children’s Academy has campuses in Chatham, Convent Station, and Short Hills, serving children from 2 ½ years of age through 6th Grade.
