Morris County March for Babies to take place at Fairleigh Dickinson University

May 1 at 9:00 am

On Sunday May 1, 2016 at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, hundreds of families and business leaders will join together in the March of Dimes annual March for Babies—the nation’s oldest walk fundraiser honoring babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive.

March for Babies, the March of Dimes largest fundraiser, helps fund lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at helping moms have healthy babies. More than 4 million babies were born in the United States last year and the March of Dimes helped each and every one through research, education, vaccines and breakthroughs.

Registration will begin at 8:00 am and the walk will start at 9:00 am. Fun activities for children will be available such as the Fairleigh Dickinson University Devil mascot, Lizzie the Eagle (the mascot from the College of St. Elizabeth), face-painting and arts and crafts from Home Depot. The Hopatcong Wildcats will be cheering for all the walkers, performers from the Mayo Performing Arts Center will be singing and the Randolph Pain Relief and Wellness Center will be on hand for stretching exercises and massages. There will also be music and food everyone.
