Ready for National Night Out?

The will be visiting some 30 block parties throughout town tonight, part of the law enforcement-sponsored public safety event taking place across the U.S.

The evening will get underway at 6 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex on Kings Road.

Personnel from agencies around Madison are also scheduled to participate, according to Lt. Jerry Mantone.

All police units traditionally end up at 8 Serpico Way for the event's finale at the end of the evening, around 8:30 p.m.
