Madison, NJ (February 2, 2018) – For the past 15 years, the Madison Education Foundation (MEF) has been generously supported by local businesses for the Madison 5K Run, Walk and Kids Fun Run. This year’s race to be held Sunday, May 6th at Madison High School is enjoying new sponsor support from new businesses in town. “We are thrilled to have The MAX Challenge on board as an enthusiastic new 5K sponsor,” reports Clare Sievers, MEF Co-President. Gregory Kleiman, owner of The MAX Challenge in Madison feels “The 5K aligns nicely with our fitness goals – at The MAX, we are committed to keeping the people of Madison fit and healthy and feel strongly that part of that fitness is supporting our clients and MEF. Fitness is goal-oriented, that’s why the educational goals of MEF are so important to us. We train a lot of parents of Madison public school kids – so the goal is healthy body, healthy mind.” “The MAX Challenge also sponsored our Gala last year and we are very happy to be working with them again for the 5K,” according to Sievers.

MEF Co-President Diane Ryan explains, “New sponsorships from local businesses such as The MAX Challenge and Club Pilates as well as early renewed support from existing Madison 5K sponsors such as: Acrow Bridge, Behind the Wheel with Carmen, Hickory Tree Deli, and the Madison Area YMCA, Nick’s Floor Covering, Pfizer and ConnectOne Bank are vital to making this event a success. A steady increase in event participation over the last several years has meant that registration fees cover all operating costs for the 5K. That means that every sponsor dollar we receive explicitly supports our enrichment grants.”

“There are a variety of benefits to 5K sponsorship depending on your level of sponsorship,” explains Colleen Taddeo, 5K Co-Chair. “Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 to $3,000. New this year you can have your business name and logo exclusively on the sleeve of the race t-shirt or be a Kids Fun Run sponsor. All sponsorship levels include marketing in local papers, social media, branding on the MEF website, race signage, banners and registration brochures.” For more information on sponsorship opportunities, contact mef5krace@gmail.com or visit www.mefnj.org to fill out a Sponsor Form online.
