Dodgers explode for 10 runs in the fourth and fifth innings to break game open.
The baseball team jumped all over Whippany Park, breaking open a 2-0 lead into a 12-2 five-inning victory on a windy Thursday afternoon.

IN SHORT
Madison's Connor Allen held Whippany Park in check for the first four innings, and then the Dodgers jumped all over the Wildcats for 10 runs in the fourth and fifth innings combined. It was 2-0 Madison heading into the fourth inning, when the Dodgers added four runs. Whippany Park tacked on two runs of their own, but Madison rallied for six runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth to close out the game.

Mike Haughey—The Madison center fielder celebrated his birthday on Thursday, and also gave a strong performance on the field. The third hitter in the Dodgers lineup went 3-for-4 with a single, double and a triple, a run scored and two RBI on the game.
