Paint. Drink. Have Fun! Pinot's Palette Opens With A Pop!
Friends, family, media and even a reality star or two toasted the arrival of the first Pinot's Palette franchise in Monmouth County

Pinot’s Palette, a ‘paint and sip’ art studio that packages a unique brand of personal entertainment by combining fun with fine art, officially popped the cork at a weekend-long grand opening celebration November 14-16.
The business is located in The Galleria Shopping Center, 100 Route 9 (northbound). The Manalapan-based art studio, which offers painting classes and special events in a party-like atmosphere, is the first Monmouth County location of Pinot’s Palette, a national franchise founded in 2009 with the motto, ‘Paint. Drink. Have Fun!’ The business is family-owned and managed. Jordan and Teri Maskowitz and their children – Jordan Jr., Amanda and Lauren - all Manalapan residents, own and operate the studio. The telephone number is (732) 637-8899. Teri Maskowitz noted, “We are thrilled to bring such a unique business to the region and to offer people of all ages an opportunity to have fun, relax and express themselves artistically through painting.”
Reality stars Linda Sorrentino and her son Frank Sorrentino, stars of the TV Guide Network-based reality show “The Sorrentino’s,” attended one of the grand opening parties to support the Maskowitz Family. Both Linda and Frank participated in the painting session, and Frank posted several photos to his Facebook account noting how much fun the duo had. The Sorrentino children – brothers Mike ‘The Situation,’ Marc, Frank, and sister Melissa, attended Manalapan schools and consider the suburb their hometown.

Pinot’s Palette offers guests the opportunity to experience art in a totally relaxed and fun-filled way. Guests enjoy the step-by-step process of creating a featured painting while sipping wine, listening to music and interacting with other guests. Trained artists provide instructions on how to replicate the painting. No art experience is necessary, and classes are usually 2 to 3 hours with scheduled breaks. Pinot’s Palette provides all art supplies, plates, wine glasses and ice buckets. Guests bring their own refreshments and cocktails on a BYOB basis. At the end of the class, everyone leaves with a finished painting. Pinot’s Palette is also available for special events and private parties including holiday celebrations, corporate events, business networking & client appreciation nights, date nights, birthday & bachelorette parties, girls’ night out, and other occasions. Children’s parties are offered through the ‘Little Brushes’ Program and are appropriately tailored to the ages of attendees. Gift certificates are also available. While the Manalapan studio is the first Monmouth County location for the growing franchise, Madison, N.J. native and current resident Carmella Bocchino-Bassolino and her daughter, Samantha, will be opening a location in Somerville, New Jersey. The duo just returned from training at corporate headquarters in Dallas and are very excited about owning and operating a business that promotes joy, laughter and good times along with art. The Somerville studio, which is slated to be the first Somerset County Pinot’s Palette, will host a series of ‘soft’ grand opening events during the first week of January, specifically Friday, January 2 and Saturday, January 3, 2015. Members of the media, area business leaders and advocates, elected officials and community stakeholders are invited to attend and should contact publicist Lori Anne Oliwa of The Write Angles, who is also a Madison native residing in Middletown, N.J., at LoriAnne@TheWriteAngles.com or (732) 337-8625. Guests will have the opportunity to experience a painting class and complete a featured painting or can just attend for the great networking and social atmosphere. The Somerville studio is presently under construction and is located at 196 Main Street, Somerville, N.J. 08876. You can contact Carmella at Somerville@pinotspalette.com for information on future classes. The website address is www.PinotsPalette.com/Somerville.
