Phone Upgrades Will Cause Temporary Service Disruption In Madison

Borough system upgrades will cause a temporary disruption in service Wednesday and Thursday.

MADISON, NJ - Those trying to call the Borough of Madison offices Wednesday and Thursday may need a little patience as the phone system will be undergoing an upgrade.

According to officials, the 20-year-old phone system is being overhauled to serve residents better. The transfer from the old to the new system will take place from building-to-building and during this time a temporary disruption of service, or inability to transfer calls to departments may occur.

Those calling on Wednesday or Thursday and are unable to get through are being asked to please be patient, as the transfer of service times will be minimal.
